Tools of the trade:
To get started with modeling you will need at the minimum.
1. ZED/Comp Card - Models
Business Card. It features 3-5 photos of you in different poses. It provides information such as your name, contact information,
agencies name and your stats. Below is a link to a sample of a Zed/Comp Card.
2. Portfolio - Used to promote YOU.
Portfolio consist of photos and tearsheets. Photos are usually 8 1/2"x11" and a good portfolio should have at
least five. Those are two headshots - color and b&w with minimual make up, a tasteful body shot, and a mix of location
and studio shots.
3. Website - Used again to promote YOU. Must be professional as possible, remember your site
makes a statement about you. Used as an advertising tool put your site on everything you send out. When ever you send an
email always add your website after your name.
