So you want to be an entertainer and you don't know how to get started. Well here is where you begin these are some the things that you will need to help you make it in this industry.

1. Determination - This can be the hardest endeavor you have ever enbarked on in your life. Countless auditions, interviews, go-sees, demo shoppings, dead end leads and unscrupulous people you will encounter, you must chalk it upto experience and dont get discouraged. Always remember if it were easy everyone would be doing it.

2. Finance - You are a business and all businesses need investment. Models have to invest in portfolios and Zed/Comp cards. Actors/Actress' need headshots, acting and vocal lessons. And muscians must spend money on demos - including studio time, pressing of vinyl, recording of tapes and cds. Once you have these in hand you must market your self and get these to the people that make a difference in the industry.

3. Luck - In this industry you make your own luck. When we see some one make it this business we tend to want to say that person just go lucky. Get around people that are doing the things that you want to do. Attend conferences, workshops, industry networking events or get on committees in your local area. Remember, in this industry "It's Not Who You Know, But Who Knows You."
